WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Every parent of a new young driver is concerned about their safety.
There's a new gadget called Truvolo. It's a small transmitter that plugs into a car's computer with an Android-based app which allows you to monitor the car and the driver.
It tracks speed, location, miles per gallon, and where the car is located at any given time to how well the person drove on recent trips.
The cost is $99.
