WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- MARC Train will operate at full service on all three lines on Tuesday, officials announced.
They also said minor delays are possible due to the extremely cold temperatures in the area. Officials advise passengers to take the following safety guidelines:
- Please allow not only extra time for your commute on MARC tomorrow, but most importantly, extra time to drive or walk to your station.Roads and sidewalks will be extremely slick, especially any standing water that re-freezes overnight. Please walk, do not run, from your car to the train.
- We strongly recommend wearing appropriate footwear tomorrow. Men's dress shoes and women's heels are not conducive to this level of cold and slick conditions. Also, please dress in layers and protect all exposed skin. This is especially important in and around your face and head.
