RICHMOND – Leroy Stanford doesn't think anyone loves the Redskins more than he does.
He definitely has a strong case.
The Richmond, Va. resident, who is working his second consecutive year as a security guard as the team's training camp, showed up for work at the team's Bon Secours center this week with the Redskins logo freshly shaved and colored into the side of his head.
"The Patriots are here [for joint practices] and I wanted to let them know this is Redskins Nation," Stanford told For The Win. "I'm playing the part of a fan. On the back of our shirts it says ambassador and that's what I am for the Redskins."
But that's actually the second most impressive evidence of his fandom. Stanford composed a track called "Redskins Baby" for the team last season, but recited an updated version for 2014 [as seen in the video above] on the spot at the team's practice Wednesday.
While Stanford was understandably disappointed in the team's 3-13 finish in 2013, he has high hopes for new head coach Jay Gruden and this year's squad.
"I'm a diehard Redskins fan so to me, every year we're going to the Super Bowl," Stanford said.
