BALTIMORE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has been indicted on one count of aggravated assault, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Rice was involved in a domestic dispute with his fiance in February at an Atlantic City, N.J. casino.
Surveillance footage shows Rice dragging an apparently unconscious Janay Palmer out of an elevator in the casino garage.
If found guilty, Rice could face between 3 and 5 years in prison.
"This is part of the due process for Ray. We know there is more to Ray Rice than this one incident," the Ravens said in a statement.
We'll update as more information becomes available.
