National Harbor, Md. (WUSA9)--More than 8,000 fans gathered Saturday at the Gaylord National Resort Hotel for the annual NatsFest, or fan festival for the Washington Nationals.

The occasion was also one of the first times Matt Williams spoke to the media since taking over as manager last October. Williams spoke with Sports Anchor Dave Owens 1-on-1 and explained what he's learned about the team since taking.

"The players as a whole I think are disappointed with the way things went last year and they're ready to go now," said Williams. "I think they've got a little chip, maybe a little chip on their shoulders from last year."

Owens also spoke 1-on-1 with Stephen Strasburg and Denard Span. See the attached video for the interviews in their entirety.
