WASHINGTON (WUSA9) --St. John's High School capped off a stellar season with a victory in the D.C. City Championship Saturday.
Jackson Coviello was the offensive catalyst for the Cadets with a 2-run double that flew over the head of St. Albans outfielders. Coviello also scored a run in the inning. The Cadets won the game 6-3, which was the inaugural D.C. State Athletic Association baseball city championship (DCSAA).
The Cadets finished the season 24-6 while the St. Albans finished 19-5. Watch highlights of the championship finale in the attached clip.
