WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The manager of the Washington Nationals was involved in crash while talking to a radio station on Wednesday morning.

According to a tweet from 106.7 The Fan, "Live on the air with the Sports Junkies, @Nationals manager Matt Williams was just involved in a hit & run crash in D.C. He's not injured."

Sports Junkies Matt Cahill says that Matt Williams was doing his morning phone interview around 8:10 a.m. off South Capitol St. right outside Nats Stadium when he was rear ended. Cahill says that the driver also hit additional cars.

At a press conference after the accident, Williams said "I'm good. Car isn't good. I was just sitting there. It was bizarre."

Listeners also tweeted about the incident, saying that Williams remained calm and continued to talk to The Fan even after his car was rear-ended by another vehicle.

The radio station later said that "Williams had been talking about the recent struggles at the plate of shortstop Ian Desmond, when he abruptly announced... he'd been involved in an accident, eventually describing the scene of a high-speed chase somewhere near South Capitol Street close to Nationals Park."

Antoine Williams, 21, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, no drivers license, and leaving the scene after colliding with another vehicle, police said.
