LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- The man who police say is a person of interest in the murder of Ruthanne Lodato in Alexandria had his motions hearing for gun charges moved to later this month.
The hearing for 53-year-old Charles Severance of West Virginia was continued to September 22, according to Heather Williamson with the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney for Loudoun County.
Severance was extradited from West Virginia to Loudoun County to face gun charges. In July, officials ruled that he would be charged. A jury trial was set for October 27th and 28th at 9 a.m.
Lodato was killed in the city of Alexandria in February.
