COLONIAL BEACH, Va. (WUSA9) -- Officials say drinking water in a Virginia town may be contaminated with E.coli.
On July 22, Colonial Beach, Va. issued a drinking water warning advising residents to boil their water before using it.
The town notified residents that a water sample collected on July 8 had tested positive for the fecal indicator E.coli. The town advises that all water must be boiled before use to kill bacteria and other organisms in the water.
The town says that they anticipate the issue will be resolved quickly.
