PETERSBURG,Va. (WUSA9) -- The Petersburg Bureau of Police is looking for a 47-year-old Virginia man who is wanted for violation of a protective order and also a person of interest in the deaths of four people.
The Petersburg, Va. Bureau of Police said the four people were found dead the early morning hours on April 19 after a fire. The medical examiner reported Friday that 67-year-old Pauline Wilkins and 46-year-old Vickie Chavis Ansar died of sharp force injuries to the torso. Twenty-two-year-old Tanique Chavis and 2-year-old Delvair Chavis died of thermal and inhalation injuries.
The U.S. Marshals Service is helping the Petersburg police search for Alexander Rosevelt Hill, Jr., who is also known as "Real Deal." Authorities said a $5,000 reward for any information leading to Hill's arrests is being offered.
Hill failed to show up for a trial Wednesday on a charge of making a telephone death threat last December to a relative of the fire's victims.
Hill is described as a black man, about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He weighs around 195 pounds, according to authorities. Hill has hazel eyes and black hair.
Authorities said Hill has a scar on his left and right upper arm, along with a scar on his right knee and left knee.
