STAFFORD, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Stafford County Sheriff's Office said three people were arrested Wednesday night in connection with heroin trafficking in Stafford, Va.
Berry Solomon Evans, 40 was arrested and charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Allison Dawn rice, 26 of Fredericksburg was charged with one count of felony possession of heroin and one count of conspiracy to violate the drug control act.
Quinn Marie Gold, 19 of Spotsylvania was charged with one count of felony possession of heroin and one count of conspiracy to violate the drug control act.
Police said all three suspects were arrested the early evening of Wednesday. They were all taken to the Rappahannock Regional Jail, police said.
Deputies will continue to eradicate heroin trafficking in the Stafford County Region. Authorities were able to identify these suspects through surveillance and investigation. They say the heroin was being distributed along the Route17/Warrenton Road corridor.
The sheriff's department said Evans was in possession of heroin with a street value of about $3,500.
"The Stafford Sheriff's Office is continuing its active and aggressive investigation into heroin trafficking in our area," Sheriff Charles Jett said. "I have committed every asset the Sheriff's Office possesses to eliminating this danger that is threatening Stafford County."
