RESTON, Virginia (WUSA9)--Anne Drissel contacted the WUSA9 Pothole Patrol Team about a pothole near a toll booth along the Dulles Toll Road. "Rte 267-Hunter Mill toll booth on eastbound--No way to dodge the pothole without hitting the booth or curb."
WUSA9 not only found a huge pothole in the toll lane Anne mentioned, but you could also see a damaged curb with concrete chips on the ground. We also spotted a few smaller potholes leading up to this toll plaza.
MORE: Where To Report Potholes
WUSA9 reported the potholes to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) which is responsible for maintaining the Dulles Toll Road.
Cyndi Ward, the Director of Operations for MWAA, tells WUSA9 they have their own pothole patrol that is out every day checking road conditions and making recommendations for repairs. Ward says pothole repairs are handled by contractors. She says MWAA tries to get potholes fixed within 2 business days after receiving a complaint.
If you have a pothole, or some other issue that is Driving You Crazy, tell WUSA9!
