UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- West Virginia police were able to arrest two men wanted in Maryland, the Prince George's County Office of the Sheriff reported.
According to the sheriff's office, Cashmere Bates of Prince George's County had a warrant out for his arrest for two burglaries in Prince George's County.
The sheriff's office reports that they were able to track Bates down in West Virginia, and discovered he was staying with another man wanted in Prince George's County, Daniel McDonald, who had a warrant out for First Degree assault.
On August 12th West Virginia State Police went to McDonald's house and arrested McDonald without incident. Bates was found hiding in a bedroom and was also arrested without incident, the sheriff's office reported.
Both McDonald and Bates were taken the the West Virginia State Police Barracks and are awaiting extradition to Prince George's County, the sheriff's office reported.
