UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) – Opening arguments will begin at 2 p.m. in the trial of a man accused of murdering a student at Central High School in September 2012.
A jury was selected Monday morning in the trial of Travon Bennett, who is charged with the murder of high school student Markel Ross.
He also faces charges for armed robbery and other offenses related to Ross' death.
Ross was shot and killed as he walked to school at Central High School on September 11, 2012.
