STERLING, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who they say pinned a 56-year-old woman in between two vehicles before fleeing the scene.
Police say the woman was removing items from her truck on May 3 in the 150 block of Enterprise Street when the driver of a minivan pinned her between the trunk of her car and the back of the minivan.
The woman told police that the minivan had backed into the parking space behind her. When she thought the driver was done parking, the woman left her vehicle. Police say she yelled for the driver to stop, but he continued in reverse.
Within seconds of pinning the victim between the two vehicles, police say the minivan driver proceeded forward and left the parking lot at a high rate of speed.
The driver is believed to be a fair skinned black male in his twenties driving a tan 1998-2004 Honda Odyssey.
The woman was taken to the Lansdowne Campus of Inova Loudoun Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with any information regarding the possible identity of the suspect is asked to contact DFC S. Allen of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Unit at 703-737-8308.
