ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- What's left of a brand new apartment building in Rockville is being torn down now after a massive fire Tuesday morning.
The flames destroyed an unoccupied building at the Gables Upper Rock Apartments. The damage is estimated to be between $15 and 20 million.
There is still no word on the cause of the fire.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration headquarters is right next door. It had to close for the day because of the demolition.
