WASHINGTON (WUSA) --Dodie Cantrell-Bickley, who wrote "The Reason of Fools," is one of four speakers at the National Archives this month in connection with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.

On Facebook she wrote: "So excited about the opportunity to share the experiences of these men--many of whom have tales that will never be known to us or to our children since we are losing so many of these heroes every day. Men some who fought for the Double V being victory in Europe & victory over racism at home."

We asked her more about her book based on that true story that started with letter found after her mother's death and whether of not there will be a follow-up.
