NOKESVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prince William County police say they have found the person who struck and killed a man with a vehicle in Nokesville, and then fled the scene.
The man was found in the area of Vint Hill Road and Broadlands Road in Nokesville after police received a call about an unconscious person at 2:49 a.m. Monday, say police.

The man was later identified as 36-year-old Ross Damon Adams.
Police officials say they believe that Adams was walking along the roadway when he was struck. Police believed that the vehicle that struck him would have extensive front end damage and was possibly headed west on Vint Hill Road towards Fauquier County, according to police.
