POTOMAC, Md. (WUSA9) -- Montgomery County police have arrested a school teacher who they say admitted to recording a foreign exchange student in the shower without her knowledge.

Darrien Lamont Tucker, 39, has been charged with five counts of conducting visual surveillance of another person in a private place without that person's consent and with prurient intent.

Police say the victim, an 18-year-old foreign exchange student, was living with Tucker's family. Police describe Tucker as her host father.

The victim told police that on May 27 and 28, Tucker slid an iPad under the bathroom door while she was showering. After the incident, the victim used her phone to record tucker sliding the iPad under the door on further occasions. She also caught Tucker using a video camera which she placed outside the bathroom, according to police.

Tucker teaches Physical Education at the McLean School of Maryland in Potomac.

Tucker was arrested on June 3. He is currently out on bond.

Police say there is no indication that Tucker engaged in this type of behavior outside of the home.
