POTOMAC, Md. (WUSA9)-- Police are investigating several assaults and stabbings that happened early Saturday morning outside of a home in Potomac.
Deputies responded to a residence located on Alloway Court at 1:10 a.m for the report of a stabbing. Police said a party was going on at the house earlier that evening. During the party uninvited guests went inside the house.
Police said the party was then shut down and all guests were told to leave.
The investigation shows that several guests stayed outside the residence and that is when the assaults happened. When deputies got to the scene, there were no victims. All of the victims had been taken to the hospital already.
Around 1:46 a.m. police got a call from a hospital stating that a stabbing victim was in the emergency room. Officers found two victims at that hospital. A 20-year-old man was suffering from a stab wound and an 18-year-old suffering injuries to his face and torso, police said.
Police got another call from a different local hospital at 2:11 a.m. They found a 15-year-old male who was suffering from a stab wound.
Deputies determined that all three victims were at the party on Alloway Court.
Police said the 20-year-old and the 18-year-old have been treated and released from the hospital. The 15-year-old is still at the hospital.
Deputies do not have a suspect yet and do not know whether or not the same suspect or suspects hurt all three victims.
According to authorities, a weapon was found close to the house, however it is uncertain if it is the same weapon used in the assaults.
Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact 2nd District detectives at 240-773-6710.
