OXON HILL, Md. (WUSA9)-- Our Friday Pothole Alert comes compliments of Leya Mason of Oxon Hill. Leya tells WUSA 9 Alice Avenue, near Virginia Lane, is riddled with pits.

"There's no way to dodge them without hitting a parked car or oncoming traffic," writes Leya.

We sent out WUSA9 Pothole Patrol out and it sure was a bumpy ride.

"Someone needs to fix these potholes," one man shouted from his apartment window as WUSA9 was taking video of the street.

We reported this street to the Prince George's County Department of Transportation. County officials tell us they try to make pothole repairs 24 to 72 hours after receiving a complaint.
