OCEAN CITY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Three people were rescued by the Coast Guard Wednesday afternoon after a 17-foot boat capsized close to Ocean City, the Coast Guard said.

The boat overturned around 4:30 p.m. and the Coast Guard responded to the accident.

A 47-foot motor lifeboat crew from the Ocean City station was underway and responded to the accident.

All three people were rescued, according to the Coast Guard.
