WALDORF, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office said, seven adults and three children have been displaced after a house fire started in a garage early Saturday morning in Waldorf, Md.

The fire happened at a 908 Waddell Road, Waldorf around 1 a.m., authorities said. The Fire Marshal's Office said the fire started in the area of the garage.

A total of 50 firefighters responded to the fire. It took crews 30 minutes to put the fire out.

The 10 people are being helped by family and friends, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.

The estimated structure loss is at $200,000 and the estimated contents loss is at $50,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
