FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Frederick Police Department said a 16-year-old was shot Saturday evening in Frederick, Md. Police are now investigating this incident.
According to authorities, officers responded to the 1600 block of Colonial Way where they found a 16-year-old male, who they say was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper left arm.
Police said, the victim may have been shot in a wooded area and was then taken to a home on Colonial Way.
Authorities said, the teen was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation into this shooting is active and ongoing; therefore, limited information is being released at this time.
