NORTH BEACH, Md. (WUSA9) -- Calvert County Sheriff's Office officials say a drunk man head-butted a computer inside a patrol car after he was arrested.
At 5:57 a.m. police responded to the 8900 block of Dayton Avenue for the report of an unconscious male on the sidewalk.
Once on scene, police saw 23-year-old Mathew Earl Anderson, of North Beach, who appeared to be intoxicated.
Anderson was wanted by Maryland State Police for failure to appear in court. He was arrested and secured in the passenger seat of the patrol car, police say.
Police say Anderson starting screaming and became combative. He attempted to bite one of the officers, and used his head to shut the car's computer, police say.
He remained disorderly until he was relinquished to staff at the Calvert County Detention Center.
Anderson is being charged with resisting arrest, second degree assault, disorderly conduct and intoxication.
