TALBOT COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Maryland State Police Department arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery that happened at a Talbot County Bank on June 19.

Police said the robbery happened at 1:54 p.m. at the Talbot Bank located at 29349 Maple Avenue, in Trappe, Md.

According to authorities the suspect entered the bank wearing black clothing and clothing covering his face. The robber had a handgun and demanded money from the bank employees.

The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.

Hector A. Bannister 2nd, 27, of Trappe, Md. was arrested and charged with armed robbery, robbery, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, theft of $1,000- $10,000, possession of a handgun on person, possession of a handgun in vehicle, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, violent crime and illegal possession of a regulated firearm. Bannister had outstanding warrants from Dorchester and Talbot counties for violation of probation/parole, authorities said.

Police arrested Christopher M. Carroll, 24, of St. Michael's, Md. His charges include: conspiracy to commit armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit first and second degree assault, conspiracy to commit reckless endangerment, theft of $1,000-$10,000 and conspiracy to commit theft of $1,000-10,000

According to authorities,Carroll is also charged through the Talbot Co. Drug Task Force with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Clifton L. Morton, Sr., 39, of St. Michael's, Md. was also charged in the robbery. He is being charged with: conspiracy to commit armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit first and second degree assault, conspiracy to commit reckless endangerment, theft of $1,000-$10,000, and conspiracy to commit theft of $1,000-10,000

Authorities said Bannister was arrested at a home in Cambridge Wednesday morning. Morton was arrested Tuesday night in St. Michael's and deputies arrested Caroll at a home in St. Michael's Tuesday night.
