GLEN BURNIE Md. (WUSA9) -- Police apprehended three suspects in connection with a burglary on the 100 block of Crain Highway South on Tuesday.
At approximately 7:12 p.m., officers responded to a trespassing complaint that was at a neighboring address on Crain Highway.
An employee of the Bank of Glen Burnie told police that she saw three people enter a second floor vacant office located at 103 Crain Highway, a building which is also owned by the bank.
Police say the suspects entered the office by removing the trim for a window in the door, and then moving it enough to open the door.
The suspects entered the building to use controlled dangerous substances, police say.
Shawn Sylvester Clark, 43, of Glen Burnie, Christopher Nathaniel Phelps, 26, of Baltimore, and Makayla Stowe Beattie, 20, of Pasadena were all charged with second, third, and fourth degree burglary, trespassing, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
