MYERSVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Frederick County Sheriff's Office arrested three people on theft and burglary charges Tuesday for a burglary that happened in Myersville, Md.
Authorities said deputies responded to Ashley Court in Myersville for a report of a burglary in progress. According to authorities, the house had previously been damaged by fire and the residents were not living at home.
Deputies got to the home and saw the three suspects, who were supposed to be clearing out the garage and shed. The three suspects, who had been hired by a restoration company by the insurance company were not supposed to enter the home. Deputies said the suspects broke into the home through a window and tried to steal items from the house.
The men were arrested and the stolen items were recovered, authorities said.
Elder Costillo-Garcia, 24 of Laurel, Md., Jorge J. Rodriguez-Cruz, 22 of Hyattsville, Md. and Ludin L. Uziel-Gamez, 26, of Hyattsville, Md. were all arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit theft and trespassing.
