SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County police have arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery on May 8.

Forty-seven-year-old Phillip Ivan Ramone Randall was arrested around 10 p.m. on May 8 after police stopped a vehicle matching the description of the one used in the bank robbery.

He was taken for additional questioning, during which he admitted his involvement in the robbery, according to police. Detectives were also able to link money recovered from Randall to the bank robbery.

Police say a man walked into a bank in the 5800 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway at 9:05 a.m. on May 8, approached a teller and passed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
