BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police arrested a 24-year-old man early Friday morning for having a street value of $24,700 of drugs in his car along with a loaded gun.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of West Meadow Road and Belle Grove Road. They stopped a driver and found a loaded gun in the vehicle. Police said they took the man into custody.

Police found the following items in the vehicle:

• One 38 Revolver, Smith & Wesson (loaded)

• 31 Loose Rounds (38 caliber, 45 caliber and 22 caliber)

• Large Plastic Bag of Powder Cocaine, 210.9 grams

• Medium Sized Bag of Powder Cocaine, 28.64 grams

• Medium Sized Bag of Crack Cocaine, 23.11 grams

• Medium Sized Bag Containing 24 Gel Caps with Crack Cocaine, 9.24 grams

• Medium Sized Bag Containing 17 Gel Caps with Crack Cocaine, 2.5 grams

• Two Large Bags Containing a total of 426 Empty Clear Capsules (Packaging)

• One Large Plastic Bag Containing White Powder (Cutting Agent) 198.4grams (Not CDS)

• One Digital Scale

• One Pill Tray

• One Strainer with Residue

Police said a 2002 Volkswagen Passat was also seized.

Troy Edward Winston, 24, of Baltimore, Md. was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of CDS paraphernalia, wear, carry and transport of handgun and wear and carry a handgun, concealed upon his person.
