MIDDLETOWN, Md. (WUSA9) - Residents are without a home after a fire in Frederick County on Monday morning.
According to officials, Frederick County Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched at 12:40 a.m. to the 4200 block of Hollow Court. They reported fire showing from the home.
Firefighters from multiple jurisdictions helped with the fire. Officials say it took 40 personnel approximately 25 minutes to bring the fire under control.
No one was injured during the fire, according to officials.
The American Red Cross is assisting the residents who were displaced.
The initial damage estimates place the total loss at $150,000, say officials.
The fire remains under investigation.
