BALTIMORE (WUSA9) -- A man wanted for multiple bank robberies in Maryland has been arrested on Tuesday.

Thirty-one-year-old Tony Derrell Bunch is charged with robbery at the Bay Bank located at 2637 Annapolis Road in Hanover, but investigators say he is also responsible for these six other robberies:

Wells Fargo – 8522 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD on April 7th

Bay Bank – 2637 Annapolis Road, Hanover, MD on April 4th

Wells Fargo – 8210 Gateway Overlook Drive, Elkridge, MD on April 4th

Wells Fargo – 582 Fredrick Road, Catonsville, MD on April 3rd

Wells Fargo – 1726 East Northern Parkway, Baltimore, MD on March 28th

Wells Fargo – 6309 York Road, in Baltimore, MD on March 25th

Wells Fargo – 860 North Rolling Road in Catonsville, MD on March 24th

In all of the robberies, witnesses have described the robber as a black man, about 20 to 30 years old, 5'6" to 5'7" tall, with a small build and medium complexion, say police. The robber hands notes to the tellers and demands money, stating he has a weapon.

Tuesday, FBI officials say that the Baltimore Violent Crimes Task Force "received information that led to his arrest based on the media coverage of the bank robberies" and arrested Bunch on Tuesday without incident.

You may remember that a reward of up to $3,000 was available for information leading to Bunch's arrest. Officials say a reward will be given in this case.
