BROOKLYN, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police have arrested suspect in connection with an attempted armed robbery early Saturday morning.
George T. Porcella, 29, of Baltimore has been charged with with Attempted Armed Robbery, Reckless Endangerment and First Degree Assault for the incident.
It happened at approximately 5:08 a.m. on March 30 at the 7-Eleven located at 4000 Ritchie Highway.
Police say a male suspect demanded money and shot the clerk with a BB Gun. The suspect fled without any property, according to police. He was last seen on foot towards Belle Grove Road.
The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build and a goatee wearing a dark colored jacket with a grey hood, blue pants and brown boots.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel responded to treat the clerk's injuries. Police say he was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment with non-life threatening wounds.
While investigating the robbery, the suspect was also identified in connection with an unprovoked face slashing of a citizen walking. He was charged with First and Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Possession of a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Injure for that incident.
