CROWNSVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police have made two arrests in last week's Crownsville homicide.
Michael Juvan Wallace, 23, of the 2900 block of 2nd Army Drive, Unit B, in Ft. Meade, Md., and Trevor Allen Snead, 17, of the 9800 block of Sodus Manor Place in Faulkner, Md., are charged with first degree murder in the death of 41-year-old Benjamin Delano Kirby, Jr. of Annapolis.
Investigation revealed that after leaving the scene of the murder, Snead and Wallace fled on foot and went to a business located on Defense Highway, according to police. Surveillance footage from the business shows Wallace and Kirby enter the establishment. Wallace is wearing clothing that is consistent with the clothing containing the blood of the victim. Surveillance footage shows Wallace buying beverages for Snead and himself with apparent money taken during the homicide/robbery.
Snead was taken into custody on March 19, when he admitted his involvement in the murder/robbery and told police Wallace was an associate in the crime.
Wallace is also charged with Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Second Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Firearm Use/Felony Violent Crime, Handgun on a Person and Handgun in a Vehicle.
Snead faces additional charges of Second Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, Firearm Use/Felony Violent Crime, and Handgun on a Person.
