SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (WUSA9) -- Five people escaped a fire at a Prince George's County home Tuesday afternoon.

Prince George's County fire and rescue spokesperson Mark Brady said three teens, an adult female and a 1-year-old were in the burning home in the 600 block of 63rd Street in Seat Pleasant, Md.

The mom and young child were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say the fire started in the front of the house, so everyone had to exit out of one of the back windows.
