GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- A Maryland state trooper who was hit by a car last fall in Anne Arundel County has returned to limited duty and will be available to media on March 18.

Authorities said Jacqueline Kline was hit by a passing car early on the morning of October 6, 2013 and critically injured.

Kline had stopped to back up another trooper on a traffic stop on the shoulder of eastbound Rt. 100, before the Catherine Avenue exit.

She spent weeks in the hospital and is still recovering from her injuries, authorities said. Kline has returned to work at Glen Burnie Barrack, but is on restricted duty and assigned to administrative work due to her continuing recovery.

Kline will be meeting with the media to answer any questions she is able to Tuesday, March 18, at 10 a.m. at the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack, in Glen Burnie, Md.
