Anne Arundel County public schools will open on time Wednesday, school system officials announced.

"Due to the lingering cold and potential icy conditions in some parts of the county, parents and employees should allow extra time for travel to schools, bus stops, and work locations," officials said in a statement. "Buses will attempt to make all stops at all locations, but there may be isolated instances where that may not be possible. Parents should be prepared with alternate travel arrangements for students in those instances."

MSA math exams for students in grades 3 through 8 will be administered Thursday and Friday, March 6 and 7. At Brock Elementary School, those exams will take place Wednesday and Thursday.
