MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police arrested five suspects Thursday, who may be connected with the MS-13 street gang for several reported burglaries in the City of Manassas Park.
The Manassas Park Police Department and the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force investigated the burglaries and arrested one adult and four teenagers, all who they believe are members of the MS-13 gang.
Michael Gray, 19 of Manassas Park was arrested and charged with illegal gang participation, attempted grand larceny of an automobile, reckless handling of a BB gun, tampering with an automobile, unlawful entry and destruction of property, according to police.
Police said two 17-year-old males and one 16-year-old male, all from Manassas Park, along with a 16-year-old male from Prince William County were each charged with the following offenses: illegal gang participation, attempted grand larceny of an automobile, tampering with an automobile, destruction of property, discharge missile at an occupied dwelling, unlawful entry and providing false identification to a law enforcement officer.
Two of the teenagers are also being investigated for a stabbing that happened at the Manassas Mall on February 4, 2014, police said.
Gray is being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, according to authorities.
Police said court dates, and bond for all five of the suspects are currently not available.
