LEESBURG, Va. (WUSA9) -- A 16-year-old boy was listed in critical condition after nearly drowning at a pool at a home in Leesburg.
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office authorities say the incident happened on Saturday evening in the 15000 block of James Monroe Highway.
According to authorities, the teen was discovered at the bottom of the pool during a gathering at the home. He did not know how to swim.
The teen was initially taken to the Cornwall Campus of Inova Loudoun Hospital before he was transferred to Inova Fairfax Hospital, say authorities. He was listed in critical condition.
