FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Frederick Police Department arrested an 18-year-old Saturday morning for drug possession and in connection with a series of burglaries.

Police said deputies were on a routine patrol in the 100 block of Willowdale Drive in Frederick, Md. around 11:30 a.m. Deputies spotted a man,Cameron Curtis Little, who had an outstanding warrant.

They took Little into custody and found marijuana on him.

According to authorities, the 18-year-old's warrant was from a month long investigation into several residential burglaries.

Police said he has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession or marijuana, first degree burglary, fourth degree burglary, theft between $1000 and $10,000, theft of credit card and conspiracy to commit each charge.

Little has been taken to the Frederick County Central Booking, police said.
