FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Frederick Police Department officers responded to 100 block of Thomas Johnson Drive for the report of a gas leak Thursday night.

According to police, they were called to the location at 9:57 p.m. Authorities said, Thomas Johnson Drive, from Oppossumtown Pike to Hayward Road, was shut down and the area was evacuated.

Police said there were no reports of injuries.

Before midnight, police announced that the gas leak was fixed and Thomas Johnson Drive was open to traffic.
