FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Frederick police need your help locating two suspects wanted for an assault inside an apartment in January.

At approximately 3:38 p.m. on January 24, police responded to an assault in the 1400 block of Key Parkway.

Investigation revealed that two suspects entered an apartment and assaulted the residents with a handgun. Police say the suspects appeared to be looking for someone who they knew.

A computerized drawing of the two suspects was completed from witness interviews. Police say they do not know the sexes of either suspects.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male or female, 5' tall with short curly hair and a hoop style nose ring. The suspect was last seen wearing a white jacket and blue jeans. Police believe the suspect is around 30-years-old.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male or female, 5' tall. Police say the suspect had a fresh cut/wound on his or her cheek at the time of the incident. The suspect was last seen wearing brown/tan pants and a black knit cap. Police believe the suspect is around 30-years-old.
