WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the death of a 38-year-old man of Alexandria, Va., who was found in the 2500 block of Pomeroy Road, SE on Sunday morning.

Police said, the man was found around 7:04 a.m. The victim, 38-year-old, Willard Carlos Shelton, of Alexandria, Va. was found suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

On Wednesday, police arrested 22-year-old Michael Hight of Southeast, Washington, and 21-year-old James Young of Southeast, Washington, charging them both with Felony Murder While Armed in connection with the shooting.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
