WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Kickstarter fund to bring Kenny Loggins to a D.C. living room lost some of its biggest contributors Wednesday evening.
"My biggest fear came to fruition. My larger backers withdrew their pledge" Erick Sanchez, the man behind the Kickstarter posted on his Facebook Wall Wednesday evening.
Sanchez had raised $30,000 to have the soft-rock superstar perform a private concert in his living room, but losing the big donors left him just shy of his goal.
Sanchez posted live updates to his Facebook throughout the night Wednesday until the fund crept back up to the $30,000 necessary to have the concert.
When Sanchez surpassed his goal last week, he announced that any extra money raised would go to an organization called Imerman's Angels an organization that offers one on one cancer support to survivors.
