WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Metropolitan Police Department said a woman is in the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, after been shot in SW, D.C. Tuesday night.
Police said the shooting happened around 8:58 p.m. outside of 102 Irving St. SW.
Authorities found a woman conscious and breathing, who had been shot. She was transported to the hospital as a priority one patient, authorities said.
There is a lookout for a silver Nissan Altima. Authorities said, the suspect lookout is for a black man, 6 feet tall with a dark complexion. The suspect has short hair and was wearing a dark shirt at the time of the shooting.
