WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police are investigating a homicide in Northeast Washington.
It happened around 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the area of 48th St. and Minnesota Ave., NW. Police say an adult male was shot and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim Monday morning as 22-year-old Delonta Lavale Martin, of Northeast, D.C.
Police say they are looking for a dark Chevy Impala with tinted windows.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
