Health inspectors closed Cafe Citron, 1343 Connecticut Ave, NW DC and J & P Cafeteria, 1301 4th St, NE DC.

All passed re-inspection and are back in business

The WUSA9 Restaurant Alert app shows a May 7th closure violation at Café Citron on Connecticut Avenue, NW.

The app lists 28 health code violations including "Heavy amount of mouse dropping observed in corners of cook line and on non-food contact surfaces" and "Heavy mold growth observed inside ice machine."
