WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A bank robber is wanted in connection with three bank robberies in Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County, Md.. They all happened between January 13 and March 28 2014.
The suspect is being described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 30. He is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches and has a medium build.
Police said during the January 13 robbery, the man was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap and a black zip-up jacket. The robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with "Nike" written in grey across the front, a black winter hat fur lining and ear flaps, large framed glasses, and dark-colored pants and shoes.
On March 28, the robber was wearing a black hooded jacket, jeans and a dark green and white baseball cap, police said.
According to authorities, the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter and handed the victim teller a note that demanded money and claimed he had a weapon. This was the case in all three incidents, police said. After getting the money, the suspect fled the bank on foot.
The FBI Washington Field Office is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that can help find the identity of the robber and make an arrest.
