3. DC police are investigating an officer involved shooting on the grounds of a Southeast D.C. school. Police approached an armed man and ordered him to drop his weapon. The suspect refused to do so, causing at least one of the officers to open fire. The suspect was hit, and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

2. Lawyers in the Chris Brown assault case will argue motions in a D.C. courtroom Monday. The singer is facing a misdemeanor assault charge in the District. Brown and his bodyguard are accused of hitting a man outside the "W" Hotel last October. Brown's trial is scheduled to start April 17.

1. Monday marks the last day of Maryland's General Assembly session. Lawmakers are expected to put the finishing touches on a bill decriminalizing marijuana, and another increasing the minimum wage. Both houses have passed versions of those measures and now they just need to iron out the differences.
