WASHINGTON, (WUSA9) -- D.C. police are investigating three armed robbery incidents that could possibly be related.
Police said the first incident happened at midnight on Sunday on 23rd Street and M Street NW. One person was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect is being described as a black man between the ages of 35 and 45. He is about 5'7'' and weighs about 160 pounds. Police said he was wearing a green hat and carry a white bag with a gun at the time.
The second robbery happened at 12:15 a.m. Sunday on 31st and N Street NW. Person or persons were also robbed at gunpoint, police said. The suspect is being described as a black man with facial hair, around 30 years-old and about 5'5''. He was wearing a cream colored shirt and also carrying a white bag with a gun at the time.
The last incident happened at 1:28 p.m. on 19th Street and Jefferson Street NW. It is not clear at this time how many people were robbed at gun point. The suspect is being described as a black man, with a dark complexion. He is about 30-years-old, 5'5'', has a short afro, a goatee, and was wearing dark jeans at the time. He was armed with a handgun, police said.
